Roasted in Houston, Texas

01 Hello, Houston

We’re a small coffee roaster in Houston, and we’re a little obsessive about what ends up in your cup.

That means knowing where the beans grew, roasting them in batches small enough to keep an eye on, and tasting everything before it goes in a bag. It takes longer. It’s worth it.

Who we are

03 Sourcing & Roasting

Good coffee comes down to three things.

  1. Ripe red coffee cherries among dark green leaves

    01

    The plant

Most roasters stick to Arabica and never look back. We use it too, but we also go looking for good Robusta, the kind that adds body and backbone instead of bitterness.

  2. A green farming valley surrounded by mountains

    02

    The place

High up and close to the equator, places like Ethiopia and Kenya. Cherries ripen slowly there, and you can taste the difference.

  3. Freshly roasted coffee turning in a roaster cooling tray

    03

    The roast

Small batches, light to medium, every roast logged. Dark roasting hides a coffee. We’d rather you taste it.
